Many exciting things are going on at Dress For The Wedding this week! For starters, my husband and I received a much-anticipated invitation to a wedding for two wonderful friends who will be wed on September 1st. So, I'll be searching for my own dress for that wedding, starting - immediately. And, since my handsome husband recently went down 2 pant sizes, and is now rivaling Iggy Pop in the slim hips department, I'll be in the market for new threads for him.
Secondly, I received a request from a bride who will be saying her vows in Paris next spring, and she has asked me to find some ideas for her dress and accessories. It sounds like a dream wedding, and it’s certainly a dream project for me to work on.
Lastly, I spoke with one of my favorite textile and accessory designers this afternoon, and I'll be featuring her work here within the week.
