I've been showing quite a few navy themes lately, like this navy lace dress for a guest or bridesmaids, and this formal navy gown.  If you're planning on having navy as one of your wedding colors, the groom's and groomsmen's ties are an excellent way to bring in this color.  While you could choose a navy suit as well, I really like how navy pops against lighter colors like the pale gray, light linen or tan, and blue-gray suits shown below.

Navy Ties for a Wedding

If you've decided navy ties are what you'd like for the gentlemen in your wedding party, here are a few options. Navy colored ties are pretty common, but I like a classic stripe, check, dot, or sleek skinny tie  to liven things up a little. It's a great choice for gentlemen wedding guests too. With a color this conservative, one can afford to liven it up, so pick a fun shirt, boutonniere, or suit to go with this classic color.
