Purple and Black Dress for a Wedding Guest
This purple and black dress with its no-need-for-a-necklace jeweled neckline and rich print was one of my picks for fall wedding guest dresses. It's still one of my favorite picks, and something about it has been beckoning me to do a collage. I think it is partially the pairing of plum purple, black and the faint bit of satiny champagne I see in the print, as well as the gem-like neckline. Embellishment is a big trend once again and we go into fall and winter, and of course, any sort of classic ornamentation like this is appropriate at a wedding. See some other embellished looks here.
