Snorkel blue is a fantastic, sea-worthy alternative to navy blue. It's a deep blue with a touch of turquoise, making it a member of the cerulean blue family in my estimation. Navy is a classic color, but if you're looking to lighten it up a bit and break out of the standard wedding color rut, try this Snorkel Blue! Designer Joanna August's shade of blue shown here, called 'Sea of Love' perfectly embodies this color. With its mix of navy, turquoise, and deep aqua, this color has a complexity to it that gives it a bit of mystery and depth. It's an ideal color to wear for beach weddings, but it would also be a natural contrast to gold, orange, pink, lush green and other tropical brights.
This particular outfit I've styled will work for a relaxed wedding with casual, natural nods in the turquoise and cobalt touches. This dress would also be perfect for destination weddings, honeymoons, and for a perpetual wedding guest to have at the ready to wear spring and summer weddings.
