During this wintery time of year, I start thinking about all the couples who may have chosen to escape the drab weather, and opted for a beach wedding or a destination wedding somewhere warm!
It's also the time of year that couples marrying in the summer might be looking for a simple lace dress for an casual outside ceremony, or something simply just to wear to an engagement party or for your rehearsal dinner.
In any of those events, I think this ivory lace maxi dress fits the bill!
Styling Ideas for Ivory Lace Gown
I've styled this gown with gold accents and elements like the tasseled earrings and lace clutch that reflect the laid-back, beachy style of this look.
I can see this also being the perfect dress for a rustic wedding or something in the Mediterranean coast! (Not that I've ever been, but I like to picture it!)
Where to Wear a White Lace Gown
This dress could also be a special gown to wear on your honeymoon, if your honeymoon takes you somewhere where semi-formal attire is welcomed.
The only place I don't recommend wearing this, is as a wedding guest, it's definitely too wedding gown for that approach! That said, this gown and others like it, do come in other colors. Try the Marie dress in Mulberry if you are a wedding guest seeking a dress like this in color!
