One of the tips I share frequently for finding a bridesmaid dress that will be worn again is to begin with the end in mind. Gray is such a wonderful color for weddings,  it's sophisticated, and neutral, but also has a bit more substance than some barely-there shades, but offers less severity than black.  If you pick a modern easy-to-wear style like this wrap dress, the look just emanates a sophisticated vibe.  This is the sort of dress a woman who always has effortless style would pick for her bridal party, or to wear herself for a night out.

How to Style a Gray Maxi Dress for a Bridesmaid

To accessorize, I decided to bring in some edgy lavender accessories to play up the faint purplish hue that I see in the gray in this dress and to make the look decidedly modern with a bit of an edge, but still bridal party-friendly. One can also choose a pretty dove gray dress in this style or more of a dark slate or charcoal.  This dress also works for a gray wedding guest dress too - just as long as the bridesmaids aren't wearing this shade. No matter what, this dress will be a closet staple, and smash hit with your wedding party!
