No doubt many mothers will be treated like royalty this weekend as we celebrate Mother's Day! To pay tribute to all the classic and elegant mothers out there, I've created this navy blue gown styled for a mother of the bride or mother of the groom. Navy is such a refined color, and will never go out of style for weddings. For a formal event where the mother of the bride would like a style that is as regal as possible, this gown is a perfect choice.

I'll let you in on a little secret; this dress is actually a bridesmaid gown by Badgley Mischka, but I think the long sweeping hem and the tulle around the shoulder gives it a beautiful neckline that would flatter not only bridesmaids, but mothers of the bride. When selecting a mother-of-the-bride gown, keep in mind it need not be labeled specifically as a mother of the bride gown. So long as it suits the wearer and the occasion, it will work!
