Ice Blue Mother of the Bride Dress
Mint is one of the hottest (or, more accurately -- coolest) colors for this spring. I've already created some mint green or pale blue inspiration for bridesmaids and guests, now it's time to include the mothers in the fun, too!

Pale Ice Blue or Mint Green Mother of the Bride Dress
Mint is one of the hottest (or, more accurately -- coolest) colors for this spring. I've already created some mint green or pale blue inspiration for bridesmaids and guests, now it's time to include the mothers in the fun, too!
This beautiful Adrianna Papell dress looks to be a mint hue to me. The official color is "mist", but one of the reviews mentioned that the dress is different in person and is more of a pale, washed-out blue. I think of it as an ice blue or a very pale aquamarine blue green. Whichever color it is, it is so appropriate and regal for a mother of the bride.
Because it's ornate and satin, I'd recommend this for a mother of the bride or groom to wear an evening ceremony for an early spring wedding, and it's wonderful for mid fall and throughout the winter as well -- to me, the ice blue color is nearly always in season. If you're invited to a formal wedding, it could also make a nice formal gown for a guest of a black tie wedding. The long sleeves and ornate detail might make it a bit heavy for summer weddings, but if you're comfortable wearing it, then I'm comfortable recommending it for a formal summer wedding, too!
Pale blues and light green are such a popular color for mothers of the bride to wear because they are almost always so elegant and rarely offend the eye. The silver lace detail allows the mother of the bride or groom to sparkle a bit-- just as she should in her honored role.
Because of the silver touches, I've matched this with silver toned accessories: elegant earrings, a hard cased floral clutch, and pale blue satin pumps. If the pale blue pumps are too perfectly matched for your taste, I think silver pumps or silver strappy high heeled sandals would be wonderful as well.
