Rehearsal Dinner Dress for the Bride
If there’s one style collage I haven’t done nearly enough of, it’s rehearsal dinner dress ideas! After all, besides the wedding dress, the bride needs styles to wear to her shower, engagement party and something for the rehearsal dinner. I’ve created this pale pink look for a rehearsal dinner dress particularly with the bride in mind ( read that as: I wouldn’t wear this as a guest). I’ll plan to do some posts this month for other rehearsal dinner attendees since I know dressing for that event can be almost as vexing as dressing for a wedding. More about this dress after the pretty picture!

In my post about little white dresses, I went on about how I love one or two white dresses for the bride, but I don’t think she should necessarily wear just white attire to all the pre-wedding events. ( Mainly because you’ll end up with 5 or more white dresses that can be hard to wear again!) I mentioned in that post that I love other special colors for the bride’s wardrobe like gold, silver, and pastels – and especially pale pink!
Well look closely, because this dress is actually a very light pink (on my low-res screen it looks cream at best). If this is a pretty shell pink in person, I think it looks like it would be an amazing rehearsal dinner dress. It even has sleeves so it can go into fall, and looks like it could work as a winter white.
The accessories I’ve chosen to accompany this are what I’m calling elegant and ladylike with a twist of sparkle — the sparkle is tucked into classic pieces like that metallic clutch, pave bracelet and bit of gold snakeskin texture in the pump. I think this dress is perfect for a bride who wants a refined and classic tailored bridal look that makes her stand out at her rehearsal dinner, but can be worn as an alternate to white. What do you think? Would you wear it on the night before the big day?
