A friend of mine recently mentioned that she's been searching for the perfect dress for her daughter's wedding. One of her daughter's wedding colors is a deep red berry color, and she wants to choose a mother of the bride dress that will either be a similar shade but with a different pattern, or few shades lighter than the bridesmaid dresses. That leaves us with a deep wine color like this, or a dusty mauve shade like this mauve mother of the bride gown.
I've been keeping my eye out for burgundy mother of the bride gowns anyway, because that hue is one of my favorites for fall weddings into the holidays. When I saw the figure-flattering bias beading of this gown, the beautiful color, and the cap sleeves I knew I'd have to show it to my friend, and I was inspired to feature it for one of my picks!
